LAWRENCE K. MERTZ
KING, WI (FORMERLY OF MILWAUKEE) Age 68 – died on Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at the Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca, WI. He was born on May 21, 1939 in Superior, WI, a son of the late Lawrence and Virginia (Connell) Mertz. Larry is survived by his sisters: Mary Ramge of New Berlin, WI, and Ella Harris of Greendale, WI. Larry had served in the U.S. Air Force during the Viet Nam War. He had been employed in the shipping and receiving department of the A.O. Smith Co. in Milwaukee. He had also worked in a foundry in the Milwaukee area. A committal service will be held at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery Chapel in Union Grove, WI on Friday, October 12, 2007 at 11:00 AM, with the Reverend James Keuch, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Union Grove, officiating. Interment will be in the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca, WI is assisting the family with arrangements.
