LAWRENCE E. MATTSON
KING, WI Age 88 – died on Friday, September 23, 2005 at the Wisconsin Veterans Home at King, WI. He was born on April 30, 1917 in Hudson, WI, a son of the late Victor and Margaret (Murphy) Mattson. Lawrence had served in the US Army from October 15, 1940 until he was discharged on June 16, 1945. He moved to the Wisconsin Veterans Home at King, WI on March 5, 1986 from Warrens, WI. He had been a janitor for a mining company in Minnesota for some time. He had also worked in the construction business. A memorial service will be held at the Wisconsin Veterans Home – Main Chapel on Friday, September 30, 2005 at 1:30 PM with Sister Cathy Wottreng – Chaplain, officiating. Military Rites will follow the memorial service. Interment will be in the Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery at King, WI. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca, WI assisted with arrangements.
