Lee Zinda's Obituary
Lee Zinda, age 86, of the Wisconsin Veterans Home, King passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at the Veterans Home. Lee was born in Taylor, Texas on July 21, 1925, the daughter of the late Dan and Lola (True) Dyess. She served in the U.S. Navy Medical Corp. during World War II. Lee is survived by her children: Mary (Tim) Ellestad, Madison; Carolyn Sawyer, Weed, CA; Paul (Kris) Zinda, Wausau and Monica Zinda, Weed, CA; her granddaughter: Kasha (Allen) Dombrowski, Amherst Jct.and her 3 great grandchildren: Riley, Anthony & Colton Dombrowski. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Dan & Lamar Dyess. The Funeral Service will be on Friday, December 16 at 1:30 PM at the Wisconsin Veterans Home-Main Chapel with Chaplain Rich Engle, officiating. Military Graveside Services will follow in the Central WI Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 12:30 PM until the time of services at the Main Chapel-King.
