Lena S. Creamer's Obituary
Lena S. Creamer, age 91, of Bethel Home in Oshkosh, formally of Waupaca passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2011 in Oshkosh. Lena was born in Bassett, Nebraska on January 26, 1920, the daughter of the late Abraham and Minnie (Kendall) Haller. On June 8, 1943, she married Howard E. Creamer in Ainsworth, Nebraska and he preceded her in death on July 19, 1991. She had worked for over 10 years as a nursing assistant at the Wisconsin Veterans Home. Lena's focus and joy in life was her families happiness and security, often putting their needs before her own. She was the loving heart of our family. We will forever be thankful of her generous gifts and acts of love. God, please accept her soul into your loving arms and treat her kindly. Lena is survived by her children: Gregory Creamer, Oshkosh; Douglas (Rebecca) Creamer, Waupaca and Bonnie (Joseph) Maggle, Sturgeon Bay; Eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren also survive. Lena was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Howard and 6 sisters. The Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, August 9 at 1 PM at Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca with Reverend Robert Blackburn, officiating. Burial will follow in the Central WI Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday morning from 11 AM to 1 PM at the funeral home.
