Lena Yeska's Obituary
Lena I. Yeska, age 90, passed away on Thursday, December 25, 2008 at Rosemor Village in Wild Rose. She was born November 20, 1918 in the Town of Oasis, Waushara Co., WI; daughter of Frank and Mary (Storzbach) Kuczmarski. Lena was a graduate of Plainfield High School and continued her education with a two year course at Wautoma Normal School. Afterwards, she completed two more years at Stevens Point Teachers College. Lena then began a career as a rural elementary school teacher in Waushara County. On August 16, 1947, Lena married Frank Yeska at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Plainfield and made their home in Wild Rose, WI. Lena is survived by: her Sister: Dora Meyers of Minneapolis, MN, her sisters-in-law: Eleanor (Robert) Krause of Berlin, WI; Margaret (Leonard) Lesniak of Wild Rose, WI; Ileen (Gary) Hudziak of Wild Rose, WI; Lorraine Markowski of Appleton, WI; Carol Yeska of Wild Rose, WI; Brothers-in-law: Dick (Jo Ann) Yeska of Wild Rose, WI and Fred Hoder of Elgin, IL. Lena is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mary Kuczmarski; her husband, Frank Yeska; two brothers, Edward and Hubert Kuczmarski, a sister in law, Lillian Hoder and two brothers in law, Edwin Yeska and August Markowski. A Funeral Mass will be on Monday, December 29, 2008 at 11 AM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Wautoma, WI. Father Robert Stegmann will preside. A visitation will be held from 9:00 - 11:00 AM on Monday at the church. Burial will be at St. Paul's Catholic Cemetery in the Town of Oasis on Monday. The Holly Funeral Home of Wild Rose is assisting the family with arrangments.
