LeRoy Belter's Obituary
LeRoy Belter, age 85, of Waupaca, WI, passed away peacefully at home with family by his side on September 19, 2025.
He was born on March 17, 1940, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Edward and Eleanor (Wanat) Belter. The eldest of two children, he is survived by sister Sharon Frankiewicz.
LeRoy met the love of his life, Donna (Reynolds) Belter, at a bowling alley in Illinois. They soon married and moved their family to Waupaca in 1965 where he built a life rooted in hard work and community. They shared 44 wonderful years together until her passing in 2006.
Together, they raised three children: Christine Belter, Guy Belter, and Renni Belter. He was also a proud grandfather to Eleanor Aspinall, Colton Belter, Lindsey Loiselle, and Emma Aspinall, who will always remember his jokes, magic tricks, and playful spirit.
LeRoy was a devoted family man and enterprising businessman. He was a co-founder of Hospitality Homes Real Estate and later established Belter Outdoor Displays. Outside of work, he found joy in hunting, fishing, restoring classic cars, and—most of all—spending time with family and friends.
In accordance with his wishes, no service will be held.
