LeRoy C. Feltz's Obituary
LeRoy Carl Feltz, 83, passed away on May 2, 2023, in Weston, Wisconsin. He was born on January 28, 1940, to Barny and Celia Feltz. LeRoy married Joan Zwicki on April 8, 1961, and they were together for over 62 years.
LeRoy worked as an operator for 40 years at Consolidated Papers in Whiting, Wisconsin. He was a hard worker who took pride in his job and enjoyed the camaraderie of his colleagues. In his spare time, LeRoy enjoyed gardening and was particularly fond of growing pumpkins. He also loved visiting casinos, trout fishing, and spending time with his family and friends. LeRoy was known for his friendly nature and his love for playing with his dog, Panda.
LeRoy is survived by his wife, Joan Feltz, their children Laurie (Louie) Krueger, Randy (Barb Wolf) Feltz, Tom (Wendy) Feltz, Patty Feltz, and Cory Feltz. He is also survived by his grandchildren Ben Feltz, Allison Feltz, Forrest Nelson, Brock (Nicole) Nelson, Chris (Amanda) Feltz, Jenny Feltz, Logan (Sarah) Krueger, Landon Krueger, and great-grandchildren Owen Reynolds, Elliana Feltz, Alayna Nelson, Liam Krueger, Kaylee Nelson, Aaron Nelson, Claire Nelson, Addisynn Feltz, and Grant Feltz, brother Fred (Bonnie) Feltz, brother Richard (Nancy) Feltz, a sister-in-law Mary Feltz.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Barny and Celia, two brothers, Barny Jr. and Robert Feltz, and two sisters, Diane and Bernadine, a grandson Kody Lee Nelson.
A funeral mass will be held on Friday, May 5, 2023, at St. Mary's Immaculate Conception in Custer, WI, at 11 am. Visitation will be held at 10 am until the time of service on Friday at the church. LeRoy will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and colleagues, but his memory will live on in their hearts forever. The Jungers Holly Funeral Home of Amherst is assisting the family with arrangements.
