LeRoy J. Franszczak's Obituary
LeRoy J. Franszczak, age 74, of the Wisconsin Veterans Home, passed away Friday, October 2, 2009 at the Veterans Home. LeRoy was born in Milwaukee, WI on May 15, 1935, the son of the late Joseph and Sophie (Majchrzak) Franszczak. On October 1, 1960 LeRoy married Lucille Pionkowski at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Polonia. LeRoy served in the U.S. Marines Corp. He was a Big Packer fan. He loved to ramp bowl at King and playing bingo. He is survived by his wife: Lucille Franszczak, Jackson, WI; his daughters: Roxanne (Vito Veranich) Stolp, West Bend, WI and Jamie Franszczak, Jackson, WI. 3 Grandchildren: Amber(Joe) Emrich, Scott & Sophie and 2 Great Grandchildren: Conner & Dominic; his sister: Betty Heger, New Berlin, WI. LeRoy is also survived by many sisters and brothers in law and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, 1 sister and 4 brother in laws. Funeral service will be on Weds. Oct. 7 at 11 AM at Wisconsin Veterans Home-Main Chapel, King, WI with Father Paul Vanden Hogen, officiating. Military Graveside Services will be in the Central WI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, King. Visitation will be on Weds. morning from 9:30 - 11:00 AM at the Main Chapel.
