LESLIE A. GUTHU
WAUPACA, WISCONSIN Age 72 passed away on Friday, April 20, 2007 surrounded by his family at his home in Waupaca. He was born August 1, 1934 in the Town of Lind, Waupaca Co., WI; son of Benjamin H. and Irene (Schmidt) Guthu. On January 21, 1955, Leslie married Greta Schmid in Frankfurt, Germany. Leslie enjoyed camping up north, telling jokes, and listening to country music. He loved cooking and woodworking, but most of all Leslie treasured the time spent with his grandchildren and family. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Irene Guthu; granddaughter, Marie Guthu; sister, Shirley Guthu; and two half-brothers, Sylvester and Everett Guthu. A Memorial Service will be on Friday, April 27, 2007 at 11:00 AM at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca. Pastor Jeff Fletcher will officiate. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements. HOLLY FUNERAL HOME
