Leslie L. Waid's Obituary
Leslie L. Waid, age 65, of Wild Rose, WI passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2013 at Appleton Medical Center. Les was born in Oshkosh April 19, 1948, the son of the late Royal and Ethel (Beck) Waid. On June 10, 1967 Les married Patricia Tietz at Mt. Morris Holden Lutheran Church. He had worked for many years at Morgan Doors/Jeld-Wen in Oshkosh. After retiring, Les and Pat enjoyed motorcycling, fishing and spending quality time outdoors and with their pets. He loved watching cooking shows and Packers games with friends. Les is survived by his wife of 45 years, Patricia Waid, Wild Rose; his daughter: Kim (Sonny) Schierl, Kalispell, MT; his sisters: Ruth (Raymond) Pitzen, Florida and Judith (Richard) Berry, Pine River, WI. and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Alice Tollard and two brothers, Ralph & Clyde Waid. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be on Thursday, May 30 from 12 to 3 PM at the Hideaway Bar & Grill in Mt. Morris.
