Lewis Ervin Walter Haase's Obituary
Lewis Ervin Walter Haase, age 88, of Waupaca, WI, died peacefuly and went to his heavenly home on Saturday, May 3rd, 2008 at Crystal River Nursing Home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in the Town of Lind, Waupaca County, Wisconsin on February 16, 1920, the son of Herman and Ella (Eilert) Haase. Lewis married Lucille Oehlke on July 21, 1945 at the Emmaus Lutheran Parsonage. He was a life-long dairy farmer. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed time spent outdoors. He is survived by Wife: Lucille Haase, Waupaca, WI; Brother: Marlin (Donna) Haase, Waupaca, WI; Brother-in-law: Harold (Mary Lou) Oehlke, Pine River, WI. Lewis is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his Parents; Five Brothers, Rudie, Alfred, Edward, Albenous, and George; andTwo sisters, Anna Olson and Francis Haase. A Funeral Service will be held at 2 PM on Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca, with Reverend William Jordan officiating. Interment will be in Lind Center Cemetery in the Town of Lind, Waupaca County, Wisconsin. A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 1PM until the time of the service at the funeral home. A memorial has been established.
