Linda L. Pohl's Obituary
Linda L. Pohl, age 78, of Brookfield, WI passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2015. Linda was born to the late Harland and Crystal (Stinson) Beier on June 10, 1937 in Almond, WI. She graduated from Almond High School in 1955. After graduating from St. Agnes School of Nursing, she became a registered nurse in 1958. She was a nurse at the Zablocki VA Medical Center, Milwaukee until retirement at the age of 71 and was passionate about making a difference in the lives of her patients. Linda is survived by her son: Rand Pohl; her sister: Betty (Mel) Vowels, nieces and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved daughter, Holly Pohl. Linda loved animals and was especially caring about cats. A private family burial will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made out to: Dane County Friends of Ferals (In Memory of Linda Pohl) 627 Post Road, Madison, WI 53713. Hardell-Holly Funeral Home in Almond is assisting the family with arrangements.
