Lisa A. Hintz's Obituary
Lisa A. Hintz, age 58, of Almond, WI, passed away on Friday, July 8th, 2022 at Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield, WI. After a long battle with cancer. She was born in Rhinelander, WI on May 1, 1964, a daughter of Robert and Carol (Swanbeck) Wadzinski. Graduated from Ashland high school. Lisa spent four years in the Army, serving from 1983 until 1987 and then came back home to Ashland and enrolled at the WITI in Nursing. She worked for 12 years at Ashland Health and Rehabilitation Center and 20 years at Portage County Health Care Center.
Lisa married David Hintz on September 17, 2011. She was a member of St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church. Lisa loved spending time with her family and grandchildren, John and Ian. She enjoyed reading and cooking. Lisa loved watching football and basketball. Her favorite team was the Minnesota Vikings. Lisa loved garage sales, collecting frogs and showmen. She loved going to car shows with her husband Dave.
Survivors include her Husband: David Hintz, Almond, WI; Daughter: Sarah Wadzinski, Almond, WI; Step-Children: Tyler Hintz; Colton Hintz; Anthony (Morgan) Hintz; Grandchildren: John Barkley; Ian Ignatowski; Step-Grandchild: Collin Hintz; Mother: Carol Johnson; Father & Step-Mother: Bob (Lynn) Wadzinski; Brother: Daniel (Heidi) Wadzinski; Aunts: Margaret Janecek; Joslen Winkle; Cousins: JoDeane (David) Kundinger; Jason (Amy) Janecek; Mark (Joanie) Winkle; Niece: Ashleigh Wadzinski. She was preceded in death by grandparents - Evelyn and Walldemar Swanbeck, John and Mildred Wadzinski, uncles - Jack and Tom Wadzinski.
A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church, 8611 State Hwy 54 Between Plover & Waupaca at 11 am on Saturday, July 23rd, 2022, with Father Peter Manickam, officiating. Memorial Visitation will be held Saturday, July 23rd from 10 am until the time of the service at the church. A luncheon will be served after the service.
