Lisa L. Konkol's Obituary
Lisa L. Konkol, age 60, of Iola, WI, passed away on September 13, 2022 at Aspirus Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids, WI.
She was born on November 15, 1961 in Wisconsin Rapids, WI, daughter of Daniel and Linda (Parnham) Konkol.
Lisa attended and graduated from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and then continued her Master’s Degree at University of Alabama at Birmingham for Public Health and attended Stanford University for her internship, after that she got her Doctorate degree and did research in Public Health from University of Michigan. Lisa loved to listen to country music.
Lisa is survived by her parents Dan and Linda Konkol of Amherst, WI; one sister Debbie (Bill) Gentz of Vesper, WI; one nephew Paul (Chelsea) Dederich and their children, Meah and Jack; one niece Jennifer (Jesse) Dederich-Patoka and their daughter, Finley Lynn.
Funeral services will be Monday, September 19, 2022 at 11:00 am at Redeemer Evangelical Lutheran Church in Iola, WI with Reverend Greg Haugen officiating. Burial of her cremains will be in the Greenwood Cemetery in Amherst, WI.
Friends may call on Monday, September 19th from 10:00 am until the time of services at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Paul Lutheran School, 311 14th Ave. South, Wisconsin Rapids, WI 54495.
