LLOYD J. COURTNEY
KING, WISCONSIN
Lloyd James Courtney passed away at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King, WI on Friday, July 25, 2014. He was born in Escanaba, MI on December 9, 1951 to Tom (Lloyd) and Helen Courtney. Lloyd joined the U.S. Marine Corps in 1969. In his free time he enjoyed many outdoor activities, baking, and was so generous he was known as the “candy man”. Lloyd is survived by his brother, James Courtney; two sisters, Lorraine Stalter and Mary (Ron) Schram; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, and a brother, Lawrence Sarasin.
A Funeral Service will be on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at 1:30 PM at the Main Chapel at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King, WI. Chaplain Rich Engle will officiate. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM at the Main Chapel. Burial will be at the Central WI Veterans Memorial Cemetery in King following the service on Thursday. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
