Lloyd J. Moder's Obituary
Lloyd (Lardy) Moder, age 87 passed away August 1, 2026. He was born February 24, 1939 to the late Rock and Beatrice (McGlin) Moder. He was united in marriage to Gladys Dunbar on May 10, 1975.
He proudly served in the United States Army. He was employed at Fox Valley Steel & Wire in Hortonville for many years. He enjoyed spending time at the family cottage in Crandon. Lloyd also enjoyed going fishing, snowmobiling, raising rabbits, and riding his bike and in later years listening to the Brewers games and going to the casino.
Lloyd is survived by three of his sisters, Rose Besaw, New London; Pat Henrickson, Appleton; and Gerri (Ron) Hoier, Hortonville. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews and his good friends and neighbors Jennifer and Christopher Kern and family.
Lloyd was preceded in death by his wife Gladys, his parents, two brothers, Russell Moder and Robert Moder and five sisters, Marion Flanagan (Tom), Joyce Young (Lorein), Lola Moder, Betty Thorson (Jerome), and Kay (Marly) Delzer and brother in laws Marvin Besaw and Richard Henrickson.
Lloyd’s family would like to thank the nurses and staff at the Bethany Retirement Home and his guardian Heidi for caring for him for the past several years.
