Lois Hansen's Obituary
Lois E. Hansen, age 81, of Waupaca, passed away on Tuesday, September 27th, 2005 at Angelus Retirement Community in Waupaca. She was born in the Town of Saxeville, Waushara Co., on February 23, 1924, a daughter of the late Loren and Belle (Brooks) Eastman. She married Russell D. Hansen on October 31, 1942 in Parfreyville. He preceded her in death on October 9, 1999. Lois was a member of Farmington Lutheran Church. Survivors include: 3 Children: Elaine (Bill) Tarr, Pine River, WI; Donald (Elizabeth) Hansen, Amherst, WI; Roger Hansen, Scandinavia, WI; 11 Grandchildren; 14 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a son - Richard, 2 brothers - Ray and Phillip Eastman, and 3 sisters - Geneva Smith, Hildred Jorgensen and Genette Jorgensen. Funeral Services will be held at Farmington Lutheran Church, Waupaca, at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 1st, with Reverend Mark E. Sabin officiating. Burial will take place at Crystal Lake Cemetery, Township of Dayton. Visitation will be held on Friday from 4 until 8 PM at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca and on Saturday from 9AM until the time of the service at the church. A memorial has been established in the name of Lois E. Hansen.
