Lois M. Serowski's Obituary
Lois M Serowski was born to eternal life on Tuesday, January 7, 2020, at Bethany Home, Waupaca, at the age of 93.
Born in Decatur, Illinois, she lived in Berlin, Milwaukee, and West Allis, retired to Arkansas in 1988, then Waupaca, WI in 2010. Graduate of Pius XI High School. She was a Volunteer for the Women's Hospital Auxiliary in Harrison, AR. She was a proof reader for 17 years at Kaiser’s Advertising Typographers and partner of Independent Typesetting for 13 years, both in Milwaukee, WI
Preceding her in death were husband of 54 years, Raymond, and son, Clifford, parents Bernard and Marie, brothers Robert, William and Thomas, sisters Beatrice and Ellyn. Lois is survived by daughter, Karen (Jonathan) Lemke of Nekoosa, daughter-in-law, Teresa Morton Serowski of West Allis, 2 grandchildren, Bret (Debra) Lemke of Waukesha, Nicole (Benjamin) Kraft of Muskego, and great grandson, Nicholas Lemke. Also survived by sisters (in- law), brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18 at St Mary Magdalene, N2845 Shadow Rd, Waupaca from 10 am until 11 am. Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 am. Entombment at Southern Wisconsin Memorial Cemetery Chapel in Union Grove on Friday, January 31 at noon. Memorial contributions may be designated to St Mary Magdalene Church in Waupaca or to the charity of your choice.
