Loretta Schwarzenbach's Obituary
Loretta O. Schwarzenbach, age 83, passed away Monday, January 21, 2008 at Brewster Village in Appleton. Loretta was born in Bear Creek, WI on May 28, 1924, the daughter of the late Otto and Tina (Kuhn) Marquardt. Loretta married John Schwarzenbach on Feb. 14, 1942 in Nelsonville and he preceded her in death on Dec. 26, 2001. Loretta was a vital and active women who enjoyed working in her vegetable garden and tending her flowers and lawn along with her husband, John. She loved canning fruits and vegetables each fall. Loretta and John always made Christmas a very special holiday for their four children. She also worked for 20 years in Housekeeping at the Wisconsin Veterans Home. Loretta was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Waupaca. Loretta is survived by her sons: John (Jeanellyn) Schwarzenbach of Green Bay and Don Schwarzenbach of San Jose, CA; her daughters: Sandra Gould (Jack Seitz) of Neenah and Judith Schwarzenbach of Santa Rosa, CA; her Step-Grandchildren: Leila Siena; Patrick Christie and Hugh Christie and her Great Grandchildren: Kathryn & Josephine. Loretta was also preceded in death by her sisters, Florence, Lillian, Viola, Leone and her brothers, Otto & Bill. Memorial Services will be on Friday, Feb. 1 at 11:30 AM at TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH in Waupaca with Rev. Dr. Charles Tews, officiating. Memorial visitation will be on Friday morning from 10:30 AM until the time of services at the church. Interment of cremains will be in the Lakeside Memorial Park in Waupaca. Loretta's Family wishes to extend a Special Thank You to the Administration and Staff at Brewster Village for the wonderful care Loretta received while there. Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
