Lorraine Jean Evenson, age 92, of Waupaca Chain O' Lakes (Columbian Lake), formerly of Green Bay, passed away on Monday, September 6th, 2010 at Bethany Home in Waupaca. She was born in Menasha, WI., on June 4, 1918, a daughter of Read Obituary
Miss Evenson was my 8th grade math teacher at Franklin in 1965. She was a wonderful teacher and I always remember how nice she looked every day - so well dressed! It would be nice to see teachers of today dress up again! I am glad she lived a long life and was able to enjoy her retirement. What a lovely lady and memorable teacher.
Lorraine was my father's first cousin, her parents being my great-uncle and great-
aunt. I have many fond memories of her at Canary Cottage and family reunions. She lived a good life which is the best all of us can ever hope for.
