Lorraine Osowicz's Obituary
Lorraine Lori A. Osowicz, age 86, of Amherst, WI, passed away Monday, October 2nd, 2006 in Stevens Point, WI. She was born in Chicago, IL on May 4, 1920, the daughter of Joseph and Sophia Schmidt. Lori married Louis Osowicz Jr. on September 3, 1938 in Milwaukee. He preceded her in death on October 25, 1976. She was a member of the St. James Catholic Church in Amherst. Lori and her husband Louis operated the Junction Bar in Amherst Jct. from 1970-1992. She is survived by Son: Ronald (Sandy) Osowicz, Santee, SC; Four Granddaughters; Five Great Grandchildren and Two Great Great Grandchildren. Lori was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Jr. and two sons, Robert and Gerald Lee. Funeral Mass will be held at 11 AM on Friday, October 6, 2006 at St. James Catholic Church in Amherst with Father Robert Pedretti officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery in the Town Stockton, Portage County. A visitation will be held Friday at the church from 10 AM until the time of the service.
