LOWELL “POPS” KENDLEY
WAUPACA, WISCONSIN
Age 91, passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2015 at ThedaCare Physicians – Waupaca. He was born July 3, 1924 on the home farm in Stephensville, WI; son of Palmer and Freda (Kamke) Kendley. Pops served in the U.S. Navy from April 15, 1943 until he was honorably discharged on April 12, 1945. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Pops is survived by:
Son: Gary (Susan) Daily of Manawa, WI
Grandchildren: Jennifer Fox of Appleton, WI
Craig (Rhonda) Daily of Appleton, WI
Bryan (Mel Johnson) Daily of New London, WI
Great-Grandchildren: Joel Fox, Olivia and Ella Daily
A special thank-you to Larry Johnson of Waupaca for all of his help and support given to Pops throughout the years. The special care he received will never be forgotten.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Palmer and Freda Kendley, and one brother, Orin Kendley.
A Graveside Service with full military honors will be on Friday, October 30, 2015 at 2:30 PM at the Central WI Veterans Memorial Cemetery in King, WI. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
