Luanne K. Sivesind's Obituary
Luanne K. Sivesind, age 80, of Waupaca, passed away at her home on Sunday, Dec. 2, 2018. Luanne was born on June 11, 1938 in Waupaca, the daughter of Enlo and Anna (Heuer) Pinkerton. She then moved to Antigo and would eventually graduate from Janesville high school and go on to obtain her degree as a registered nurse from Madison General Hospital. Luanne spent over 50 years as a nurse. She was joined in marriage to Carlyle Sivesind in Rockford, IL on June 25, 1966. She was active in several organizations throughout the course of her life. She was a life member of The Eastern Star-Chapter 69, and was a past honored queen for Jobs Daughters-Bethel 21. She enjoyed reading, cooking, shopping and most importantly spending time with her family.
Luanne is survived by her children, Lisa (Jay) Slattery of Rib Lake, Kristi (Mike) Otterson of Waupaca, and Jon (Wendy) Sivesind of Waupaca; Grandchildren, Sara Emmerich, Conner, Maxwell and Joseph Slattery, Aidan Smithson, Erin Fletcher, Jonathan Otterson, Brittany Otterson, Ashley Coutley, Alicia Hoover, and Karie Fletcher; Many great-grandchildren, other close relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Carlyle; her parents; and an infant daughter.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 7, 2018 at Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca. Visitation will be from 10-11AM at the funeral home with services beginning at 11AM. Pastor Jeff Fletcher will be officiating. Burial will take place immediately following the service at Crystal Lake Cemetery in the Town of Dayton.
