Lucille R. Haase's Obituary
Lucille R. Haase, age 95, of Waupaca, WI, left this earthly home to go to her heavenly home on Sunday, October 25, 2020. She was born September 27, 1925 in the Town of Saxeville, Waushara Co., WI; daughter of August and Esther (Miller) Oehlke. On July 31, 1945, Lucille married Lewis Haase in the Town of Lind and together they shared 62 years of marriage before his passing on May 3, 2008. Most of their time together was on their farm, the Haase Family Homestead, located in the Town of Lind. Lucille enjoyed the outdoors, whether it was gardening or working alongside her husband on the farm. She also enjoyed flowers, music and collecting recipes. Lucille will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends.
Lucille is survived by her brother-in-law, Marlin (Donna) Haase of Waupaca, WI and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, August and Esther Oehlke; her loving husband, Lewis Haase; two brothers, Paul (Alice) Oehlke and Harold (Mary Lou) Oehlke; and by many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
A Graveside Service will be on Thursday, October 29, 2020 at 12:30 PM at the Lind Center Cemetery in the Town of Lind, Waupaca County, Wisconsin. Pastor Kurt Schilling from Emmaus Evangelical Lutheran Church in the Town of Lind will officiate. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
