Mary Bigus
Aunt Lucille was the aunt you could always count on to remember who you were at all of the Patoka family gatherings, and know exactly the questions to ask that applied to what was happening in the season of life you were experiencing. Even this past January 2024 when I got the fortunate blessing to talk to her at my brother Don's funeral service she still remembered that I lived near Boston, was teaching, and had 2 children. We caught up on all of her children/my cousins and their children. What a gift that was. Although it's hard to lose a mom--no matter what age they are--may all of you remember fondly as I will, what a great gift of conversation Lucille had her entire life so all of us felt remembered. I will be with you in spirit and praying for the adjustment that lies ahead. Love, Mary (Dombrowski) Bigus (Ray & Virginia's daughter)
