Lydia Brockway's Obituary
Lydia H. Brockway, age 98, of Wild Rose, WI, formerly of Coloma, WI passed away Tuesday, March 10th, 2007 at the Wild Rose Manor. She was born in Cedarburg, WI on August 5, 1908, the daughter of Albert and Ella (Polzin) Scherf. Lydia married Emerson Brockway on April 21, 1928 in Milwaukee. He preceded her in death on March 1, 1966. She is survived by Children: Lillian (Ferdinand) Schmutzler, Milwaukee; Marlene (Perfecto) Perez, Toms River, NJ; Edward (JoAnne) Brockway, Cudahy, WI; Jodi (James) Hayek, Coloma, WI; Sisters: Dorothy Oberdorf, Milwaukee; Ruth Placzek, White House, TN; Florence Kranski, Milwaukee; Twenty-two Grandchildren; Forty-three Great Grandchildren; and Nine Great Great Grandchildren. Lydia is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her Parents and a Daughter, Alice Sidwell. Per Lydia's wish, there will be no services.
