Mabel Pagel's Obituary
Mabel S. Pagel, age 89, of Waupaca, WI. passed away Friday, March 11, 2005 at Crystal River Nursing & Rehab. Center. Mabel was born in Town of Alban, Portage Co. WI on July 16, 1915, the daughter of the late William and Letta (Johnson) Marquard. On November 10, 1934 Mabel married John A. Pagel in Iola, WI. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Waupaca.
She is survived by her children: Donald (June) Pagel, Winter Haven, Florida; John (Jack) (Diane) Pagel Jr., Waupaca, WI; Mavis (Harlen) Olson, Chapman, Kansas; Elaine (Wayne) Pederson, Rhinelander, WI and Sharon McKay, Waupaca, WI; 16 Grandchildren, 39 Great Grandchildren and 7 Great Great Granchildren and her sisters: Joyce Rath, Waupaca, WI; Janet (David) Haefle, Rhinelander, WI; Eileen (Norb) Kolz and Delores (James) Lewinski, both of Waupaca, WI. Mabel is also survived by 2 sister in laws and 1 brother in law. Mabel was preceded in death by her husband, 3 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, 3 brothers and 5 sisters.
Funeral Services will be at Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca at 11 AM on Monday, March 14 with Rev. Dr. Charles Tews, officiating. Burial will be in Park Cemetery,Town St. Lawrence. Visitation was Monday morning from 10 to 11 AM at Holly Funeral Home.
