Marcia Y. Heinz's Obituary
Marcia (Wallrich) Heinz age 91, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2017 at Saint Michaels Hospital in Stevens Point, WI. Marcia was born on August 20, 1926, the daughter of Marshall and Ruth (Young) Wallrich.
She married Keith William Heinz on September 8, 1949 in Shawano, WI.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed fishing from her pier on Shawano lake, entertaining friends and family, and going to the casino with her friends. She also had a passion for feeding and watching birds and also did a National Audubon count on January 1st every year. Her love for golden retrievers was passed on to her sons and grandchildren. Mostly she will be remembered by her singing and riddles.
Marcia is survived by sons Jeff (Jackie) Heinz of Amherst, WI, Steve (Rudi) Heinz of Frisco, Texas; grandchildren Bill Goin of Plano, TX, Jason (Stacey) Heinz of Savannah, Georgia, Liz Heinz of Amherst, WI and Nicki Heinz of Amherst, WI; greatgrandchildren, Blake Heinz, Ellery and Barrett Heinz.
Marcia was proceeded in death by her parents Marshall and Ruth Young Wallrich; her husband Keith Heinz; her son Larry Heinz; Brothers Dick Wallrich, Jim Wallrich, and sister Jeanne Morris.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday November 28, 2017 at 11 A.M. at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Waupaca. Rev. Nigel Bousfield will officiate. A visitation will be held on Monday from 4 until 7 P.M. at the Jungers-Holly Funeral Home in Amherst, and again at the church on Tuesday from 10 A.M. until the time of the service at 11 A.M. a burial of cremains will be held at a later date.
The family would like to thank all of her caregivers and staff at The Lodge, in Plover, WI; also to her medical staff at Saint Michaels.
