Margaret Pope's Obituary
Margaret M. Pope, age 95, of Waupaca, WI, died Thursday, February 21st, 2008, a day after her 95th Birthday, at Crystal River Nursing in Waupaca. She was born in the Town of Waupaca, on February 20, 1913, the daughter of William and Emily (Zeinert) Pope. Margaret was a bookkeeper at various businesses in Waupaca for many years. She worked at Leader Hardware for 14 years and Waupaca Savings and Loan for 13 years. After she retired, Margaret worked at Kay's Gift Shop and H & R Block for 10 years. She enjoyed music, gardening, and crocheting. Margaret is survived by a Niece: Louise (Loren) Ebert, Appleton, WI; Nephews: William (Kathy) Pope, Andover, NJ; Fred (Pat) Pope, Westminster, CO. Margaret is further survived by many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Edna; brother, Alex and his wife Olga. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca, with Reverend Barry Hoerz officiating. Interment will be in Lakeside Memorial Park in Waupaca. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 12 Noon until the time of the service. The family would to thank the staff at Crystal River Nursing Home for all of their special care and also to the staff at Crystal House for all their love and care while Margaret lived there.
