Margaret Walkowicz's Obituary
Margaret (Marge) Walkowicz, age 85, of Waupaca, formerly of Almond, passed away on Sunday, June 29th, 2008 at Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca. She was born in Chicago, IL. on July 12, 1922, daughter of the late John and Teresa (Zahara) Izral. She married John Walkowicz on May 5, 1945 in Chicago. Marge was a member of St. John's Rosary and American Legion Auxialary #339. She held every office in local and county levels for the Auxiliary. Marge was president at St. John's for 2 years and secretery for many years. Since retiring, she enjoyed volunteering at the Wisconsin Veterans Home, writing and playing cribbage. Tiffany (Randy) Walkowicz-Beadorf; Jenni (Ben) Greenwood, Norwick, CT; Katie Walkowicz, Libertyville, IL; Bill Walkowicz, San Diego, CA; Becky Walkowicz, Whitewater, WI; Great Grandchildren: Bryce and Madison Greenwood. She was preceded in death by her parents, and three sisters. Funeral Services will be held at the Hardell-Holly Funeral Home in Almond at 11 AM on Thursday, July 3rd, 2008, with Father Paul Vanden Hogen officiating. Interment will be in the Hope Cemetery, Town Belmont, WI. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 9 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
