Margaret Wharton's Obituary
Margaret J. Wharton, age 83, of Amherst, WI., passed away on Tuesday, August 19th, 2008. She was born in Stanley, WI., on November 13, 1924, a daughter of the late Thomas and Mabel (Shilts) Flynn. She married Robert Allard in April of 1946, he preceded her in death on December 3, 1973. She then married Murl Wharten on December 18, 1976. He preceded her in death on June 8, 2008. Survivors include 2 Children: Marilyn (Robert) Miller, Amherst, WI; William Allard, Waupaca, WI; 3 Grandchildren: Jacqueline (Andrew) Grenlie, Scandinavia, WI; Jon (Claudia) Miller, Sun Prairie, WI; Bobby (Carmen) Miller, Waupaca, WI; 5 Great Grandchildren: Gunner, Erik & Soren Grenlie; Ivy & Robin Miller. She was preceded in death by her husband - Robert Allard, husband - Murl Wharton, four brothers and one sister. A Memorial Service will be held at the Jungers-Holly Funeral Home in Amherst at 11 AM on Saturday, August 23rd, 2008, with Father Robert Pedretti officiating. Interment of cremains will be in the St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Cemetery, Waupaca at a later date. Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, from 10 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
