My sincere condolences. Consider yourself very fortunate to have had so many years close by to your Mom and Dad. Your Mom lived a longer life than most.
Though my visits with Mary were somewhat few and far between, I very much liked and admired her over the years.
I hope she did not suffer too badly at the end.
It is OK to be sad and to mourn. Eventually, you will feel less pain and will instead remember the good times and memories.
