Marie Dukquits' Obituary
Marie Dukquits age 86, of Amherst, WI, passed away on Monday March 31, 2025 at her residence. Marie was born on March 18, 1939, the daughter of David and Lillian (Bass) Smith. Marie married Ernest Dukquits on May 21, 1961. Marie loved all her animals, birds and gardening. Marie was a member of the Amherst Lioness Club and the Wounded Warrior Project.
Marie is survived by her husband Ernest Dukquits of Amherst, WI; her daughter Lynette Dukquits of Sturevant, WI; her grandson Zachary (Nicole) Dukquits of Mt. Pleasant, WI and her sister Dorothy Rudd of Winnipeg Canada.
Marie was preceded in death by her parents David and Lillian Smith.
A visitation only will be held on Tuesday April 8, 2025 from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the Jungers-Holly Funeral Home in Amherst, WI. A private burial will take place at Greenwood Cemetery in Amherst, WI. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
