Marie A. Thompson's Obituary
Marie A. (Roemer) Thompson, age 59, of Wild Rose, passed away on Sunday, June 26th, 2016 at Bethany Home in Waupaca. She was born in Waupaca, on May 25, 1957, the daughter of the late William and Gloria (Nehring) Roemer.
She married Kenneth Thompson on October 3, 1998 in Saxeville. He survives. Marie attended Waushara Community Church in Wautoma. She was employed by the Waupaca School District as an Administrative Assistant.
Survivors include her Husband: Kenneth Thompson, Wild Rose, WI; Children: Kevin Thompson, Grandview, IA; Sheila (Chris) Meder, Davenport, IA; Nicole (Peter) Grande, Fairwater, WI; Grandchildren: Alexis, Sam, Lilly, Grace, Mary, Lilly, Kevin & Kaitlynn; Brothers: Brian (Suzanne) Roemer; Wayne (Lori) Roemer; Bruce (Colleen) Roemer and Alan Roemer. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Marie was preceded in death by her parents, sister-in-law - Katrina, brother-in-law - Gary and a nephew - Justin.
Funeral Services will be held at the Holly Funeral Home in Wild Rose at 11 AM on Thursday, June 30th, 2016, with Reverend Al Spitler, officiating. Interment will be in the Pine River Cemetery, Town Leon, Waushara Co. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, from 4 until 8 PM at the Holly Funeral Home in Wild Rose and again on Thursday, from 10 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in her name.
