Marilyn A. Boutwell's Obituary
Marilyn A. Boutwell, age 89, of Waupaca, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 8, 2026, with her loving family by her side. Marilyn was born on October 12, 1936, in Waupaca, the daughter of the late Bert and Alice (Petersen) Wyman. On January 12, 1958, she married James Peterson, who preceded her in death on January 30, 1994. She later married John Boutwell on September 8, 2001; he also preceded her in death on July 3, 2024.
Marilyn worked in housekeeping at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King, Wisconsin. She enjoyed putting up Christmas trees, shopping, decorating outside around her home, and watching the birds.
Marilyn is survived by her children Bruce Peterson, Mark Peterson, Brett (Paula Hoewisch) Peterson, Alice Jansen, grandchildren Alyssia Peterson, Michelle (Kyle) Grube, Megan (Ben) Stevens, Jamie Peterson, Brett James, Justin (Tatiana) Jansen, Ashley Jansen, great-grandchildren Logan, Reese, Arlo, Hazel, Ottis, Maddox, Jack, Skye, Kaelynn, Rowan, brother Robert (Toni) Wyman, also many step-children, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 13, 2026 at Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca, WI. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until time of service at Holly’s. Burial will follow at Lakeside Memorial Park in Waupaca.
