MARILYN L. BOWERS
WAUPACA, WISCONSIN Age 63, passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at her home in Waupaca, WI. She was born July 3, 1947 in Chicago, IL; daughter of Wilbur and Lois (Wrede) Freese. On September 1, 1983, Marilyn married Fredrick Bowers in Boothwyn, PA. He preceded her in death on February 11, 2007. Marilyn is survived by:
Son: Michael (Roxeann) Matthies of Superior, CO
Two Granddaughters: Erica Matthies and Isabelle Matthies of Superior, CO
Step-Children: Cyndy (Reggie) Layoff Tom (Tammy) Bowers
Step-Grandchildren: Jane Layoff, Andy Layoff, J-T Bowers, Tyler Bowers, and Kendall Bowers
Sister: Gina L. McCollum

Beloved Pet: Lucky
Also survived by many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur and Lois Freese, and her husband, Fredrick Bowers. A Memorial Service will be on Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at 3:00 PM at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca, WI. Reverend Dean Wheeler will officiate. A visitation will be held from 2:00 – 3:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements. HOLLY FUNERAL HOME
