Marilyn J. Miller's Obituary
Marilyn Joy Miller of Waupaca, formerly of Amherst, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, April 30, at Park Vista in Waupaca, Wisconsin. She was born on September 29, 1946, in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, to Robert Charles Allard and Margaret Josephine Flynn.
Marilyn worked for many years at Farmers State Bank, where she served as a teller and receptionist, and was known for her friendly smile and dedication. She enjoyed reading, spending time with her family—especially her grandchildren—traveling, and shopping. She also had a special place in her heart for her furry companion, her dog Rudy.
Marilyn is survived by her children, Jacqueline (Andrew) Grenlie, Jon (Claudia) Miller, and Bobby (Carmen) Miller; her grandchildren, Gunner (Josephine), Erik, and Soren Grenlie, and Ivy and Robin Miller; her brother, William Allard; her special friend, Giles Bellin; her stepchildren, Sharon (Steve) Minton and Scott Mullenix; Sharon and Steve’s children, Shannon and Shaylyn; and her stepdaughter-in-law, Kim Miller, her son Travis Miller, she is further survived by numerous loving cousins and relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Allard and Margaret Wharton; her husband, Robert Miller Sr.; and her stepson, Robert Miller Jr.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 5, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Waupaca, Wisconsin. A Memorial Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at the church.
Marilyn will be laid to rest at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Cemetery.
