Marjorie Lauritzen's Obituary
Marjorie H. Lauritzen, age 94, of Wild Rose, WI, passed away Monday, August 4, 2008 at Elder Care in Waupaca. Marjorie was born in Park Ridge, IL on December 23, 1913, the daughter of the late Michael and Louise (Witkey) Huck. On September 15, 1935 Marjorie married Henry W. Lauritzen in Des Plaines, IL and he preceded her in death on December 29, 1979. Marjorie worked for 13 years in the Food Service Dept. at the Wisconsin Veterans Home. She is a member of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Community in Waupaca. Marjorie is survived by her children: Henry (Deborah) Lauritzen of Waupaca; Mary (James) Patterson of Oshkosh; Judy (John) Jensen-Nelson of Wild Rose; Michael (Kay) Lauritzen of Waupaca; Thomas (Mae) Lauritzen of Wild Rose; John (Chris) Lauritzen of Wild Rose and Katie (Jeff Anderson) Lauritzen of Delafield, WI. Also surviving are 23 Grandchildren, 31 Great Grandchildren and a brother: Michael (Elizabeth) Huck of Arlington Heights, IL. Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Henry, one son, James, 3 grandchildren, 2 brothers, Richard & Stephen and a sister, Louise. Funeral Mass will be on Saturday, August 9 at 12 Noon at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Community in Waupaca with Father Brian Belongia & Father James Vennix, co-celebrants. Interment will be in the St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Cemetery in Waupaca. Visitation will be on Friday evening from 4 to 8 PM at Holly Funeral Home in WILD ROSE with a Prayer Service at 8 PM and on Saturday morning from 11 AM until the time of mass at the church. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Marjorie's name.
