Marjorie Mather Robinson's Obituary
Marjorie M Robinson, age 84, of Willow Lake Estates, Elgin, IL , passed away Friday, January 20th, 2006 surrounded by her family in Union, McHenry County, IL. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on January 25, 1921, the daughter of the late Robert E. and Grace I. (Sawyer) Mather. Marjorie was a 45 year resident of the Carpentersville-Elgin areas. She had many interests which included swimming, bowling and square dancing. Marjorie was a member of the Bachelor and Bachelorette Square Dancing Club, a member, former treasurer and president of the Lake-Ettes and also a member of the Rebeckah Lodge #120 of Elgin. She was a W.W. II Navy Veteran serving as a Pharmacists Mate Second Class. Marjorie enjoyed crossword puzzles and spending time with her family and friends. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by four children: Barbara (Allen) Majkrzak, Cary, IL; Robert (Patrice) Robinson, Owasso, OK; Theadore (Natalie) Robinson Jr., Union, IL; Patti (Rick) Ahrens, Genoa, IL; Ten Grandchildren: Joshua, Nicole, David; Shawn, Jaclyn, Kelly; TJ, Stacie, Caitlyn and Shea. Ten great grandchildren, her sister: Roberta Jasper, San Jose, CA; two brothers: Daryl (Ruth) Mather, Madison, WI; Robert (Patricia) Mather, Waupaca, WI; and a Sister-in-law: Ann Mather, Waupaca, WI. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Theadore Sr. on Jan. 26, 1975, her twin brother, Marvin and brother, Melvin. The Funeral Service will be at Holly Funeral Home, Waupaca, at 12 PM on Wednesday, January 25th, with Reverend Dr. Charles Tews officiating. Interment will be in the Lakeside Memorial Park Waupaca, WI. Visitation will be on Wednesday 10 to 12 Noon at Holly Funeral Home-Waupaca.
