Marjorie Stiebs' Obituary
Marjorie Stiebs, age 97, of Bethany Pines passed away on Friday, February 5, 2016 at Theda Care Medical Center-Waupaca. Marjorie was born in Waupaca on September 18, 1918, the daughter of the late Peter and Marion (Cook) Nelson. On Oct 3, 1942, she married Clarence A. Stiebs at her parents home in Parfreyville and he preceded her in death on January 30, 1994. Marjorie attended Oshkosh Business College before marriage and after marriage, she and Clarence farmed for many years. She enjoyed dancing, traveling and cooking. Many Thanksgiving meals were enjoyed at the Stiebs home. She was a member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Waupaca. Marjorie is survived by her son: Allan Stiebs, Waupaca and also many nieces, nephews and great nieces & nephews. Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence, her son, Roger and two sisters: Louise Wood & Eleanor Neuman. A Memorial Service will be on Wednesday, February 10 at 1 PM at the Bethany Home Chapel, with Reverend Paul Bowe, officiating. Burial will be later in the spring at Parfreyville Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 12 PM to 1 PM at Bethany Home Chapel. Marjorie's family wishes to thank the entire staff of Bethany Pines for the past 11 years of wonderful care she received. Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca assisted the family with arrangements.
