Mark McCardell's Obituary
Mark Edward McCardell, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 28th, 2011 at his home in Miami, Oklahoma. Mark was born in Chicago, Illinois to Edward and Phyllis McCardell on September 11, 1958. Mark was a graduate of Wild Rose High School. He attended Marquette University for two years before enlisting in the U.S. Navy where he served for six years. He was stationed in Portsmouth, Virginia and San Diego, California. Following his time in the Navy, he lived in southern California. There he married his wife of 25 years, Sandra. For the past several years they resided in Miami, Oklahoma Mark was preceded in death by his father, Edward and brother-in-law, Donald DeMeuse. He is survived by his wife Sandra McCardell, mother, Phyllis McCardell of Waupaca and nine siblings, Mae (Thomas) Lauritzen, Maureen (fiancé, Quintin) McCardell, Marianne DeMeuse, Michael (Amy) McCardell, Matthew (Pamela) McCardell, Martin McCardell, Edward (Tammie) McCardell, Sean (Amy) McCardell, Julie (Brent) Kubic, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. A Private Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Wautoma, at 10:30 AM on Thursday, May 5th, 2011, with Father Robert Stegmann, officiating. Interment of cremains took place at Calvary Cemetery, Wautoma.
