Marlis Conradt's Obituary
Marlis C. Conradt, age 81, passed away Monday, February 12, 2007 at Bethany Home, where she was a resident. Marlis was born in Navarino, WI September 7, 1925, the daughter of the late Voral and Tillie (Luniak) Diemel.
On February 23, 1946, Marlis married David A. Conradt in Shioction, WI. She worked at Zwickers Knitting Mill for many years. She was involved with Meals on Wheels, the Ladies Aide of Immanuel Lutheran Church where she was a member, and Sewing Club in Clintonville. Marlis loved bowling, playing billards, picking strawberries, playing cards, walleye fishing, casino trips, ice fishing and the land.
She is survived by her son: Kenneth Conradt, Waupaca; her daughter: Marlene Minton, Mosinee; a daughter-in-law: Barb Conradt, Waupaca; three grandchildren: Kari and Kyle Conradt and Jennifer Minton; her sister: Eileen Krull, Nichols; sisters-in-law: Katie Diemel, Nichols; Velma Diemel, Manitowoc; Evie Conradt and Dorothy Schmidt both of Appleton, Elvira Feller, Kaukauna; Irene Yunk, Elcho; and a brother-in-law: Daniel Conradt, Navarino, WI. She is further survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband- David, a son - Keith, and her brothers - Lyle, Lloyd (Jigs) and Bobby, brothers-in-law - Russel Krull, Vilas Conradt, Norman Conradt, Wilbert Conradt, Harold Feller, Gilbert Schmidt and sisters-in-law- Ida Diemel, Sally Conradt, Nora Conradt, and Rose Conradt-Anderson.
The Funeral Service will be held at Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church, Waupaca, at 11 AM on Thursday, February 15, 2007 with Reverend Jeffrey Holtan officiating. Interment will be in the spring at Union Cemetery in the Town of Lessor, WI. Visitation will be held Wednesday 4 - 8 PM at Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca.
