Age 88 - passed away on Friday, March 28, 2014 at Ministry St. Michael’s Hospital in Stevens Point, WI. She was born on October 25, 1925 in the Ukraine, the daughter of Ignat and Anna (Matwyshyn) Lytwyn. She married Andrew Demenko in 1943 in Germany, and they came to the United States in 1949.
Martha is survived by her husband, Andrew Demenko, her daughter, Martha Demenko of Villa Park, IL, and a sister, Natalie living in Kiev, Ukraine. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and two brothers.
A funeral service will be held at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca, WI on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 11:00 AM with Father Bohdan Kolynyk, officiating. Interment will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Wild Rose, WI. A visitation will be held at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca on Saturday morning 9:30 – 11:00 AM. The Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca, WI is assisting the family with arrangements.
