MARTHA A. WEINBACHER
WAUPACA, WI. (FORMERLY OF OSHKOSH, WI) Age 92 – died on Saturday, March 19, 2005 at Bethany Home in Waupaca, WI. She was born on September 4, 1912 in Oshkosh, WI, a daughter of the late Alois and Barbara (Lercher) Weinbacher. Martha is survived by two sisters: Harriet Weinbacher and Alice Baier, both of Waupaca, WI, and her “adopted” brother: Father James Vennix of Waupaca, WI, a niece: Barb Baier of Oshkosh, and her son, Matthew, and daughters, Jenny and Heather Schoenrock, a nephew: William (Rene) Baier of Highlands Ranch, CO, and their daughters, Sarah and Courtney. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister: Florence Weinbacher. She remained in Oshkosh until March of 2000 when she moved to Waupaca. She was a lifelong member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Oshkosh, and worked for a time for it’s Pastor, Msgr. Reul. Martha then became the Bookkeeper for the Ben Ganther Construction Co. in Oshkosh and remained there until her retirement in 1977. “Martie” enjoyed her home, her yard, and her garden. She will always be remembered for her unconditional love of God, family, and friends, and for her kindness and her gentle spirit. A funeral service will be held at the Bethany Home Chapel in Waupaca, WI on Wednesday, March 23, 2005 at 1:00 PM, with Father James Vennix, officiating. Interment will be in Oshkosh, WI at a later date. Friends may call at the Bethany Home Chapel on Wednesday from Noon until 1:00 PM. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca, WI is assisting the family with arrangements. The family extends a special Thank You to Dr. Bob Peterson, and the staff of Bethany Home for the wonderful love and care. May God bless them.
