Martin Conrad Inda's Obituary
Martin Inda, age 83 of Wild Rose passed away on Monday, December 15th, 2014 at Appleton Medical Center.
Martin was born on May 21, 1931 to the late Frank and Amelia (Maciejewski) Inda in Wild Rose, WI. He joined the U.S. Army and served during the Korean War. Martin married Kathleen Colligan on September 13, 1952 in Wautoma, WI. He worked for the union as a heavy equipment operator Local 139. After his retirement, Martin was a truck driver for WI Tubing for 10 more years. Martin was a family man, loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He also helped his three sons build two log homes. Martin was an avid fisherman, hunter, and coon hunter. He had award winning coon hounds and harvested many big game trophies. Martin also enjoyed Sturgeon Spearing and going to Canada to go fishing and moose hunting.
Martin is survived by his wife, Kathleen Inda; children, Anthony (Cindy) Inda; James Inda; Julie (James) Ryerson; Jane Inda (Doug Fralish); Pat Inda (Gail Stout); grandchildren, Shaun (Jenna) Wenzel; Josh (Lindsey) Inda; Justin (Sara) Inda; Christopher (Missy) Inda; Brian Inda (Teresa Debaets); Steve Ryerson; Andy Ryerson; Wendy Fite (Terry Carpenter); Shannon (Adam) Johnson; Scott (Liz) Inda; Sara Inda (Noah Lawson); 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Frank Inda; sister, Barbara Inda; also many other, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Martin is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Fabian Inda; sister, Jeanette Inda; sister-in-law, Patricia Inda; niece, Mary Inda.
A Memorial Service will be held 3:00 PM on Friday, December 19th at Holly Funeral Home in Wild Rose. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until time of service at Holly Funeral Home. Military honors will be held following the Memorial Service.
