Age 61 – passed away unexpectedly at her residence on Thursday, November 8, 2012. She was born on June 8, 1951 in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of Ervin and Ellen (McGrorty) Kohloff. She married John A. Baldus on April 4, 1970 in Milwaukee, WI.
Mary Ellen is survived by her husband, John, her son, Zachary Baldus of Portland, OR, grandsons; Gage and Maguire Baldus of Colorado, and brothers; Tom Kohloff of Milwaukee, and Jerry Kohloff of Florida. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Jacob Baldus.
Mary Ellen operated a house keeping business in the Wild Rose area. Through the years she had also operated Boutique Shops in the Wild Rose, Wautoma, and Green Lakes areas. She enjoyed the Ballet, spending time with her girlfriends, and being at home.
A Celebration of Remembrance and Song will be held at the Holly Funeral Home in Wild Rose, WI on Sunday, November 11, 2012 at 4:00 PM. A visitation will begin on Sunday afternoon at 2:00 PM at the funeral home. The Holly Funeral Home of Wild Rose, WI is assisting the family with arrangements.
