MARY M. HESS
KING, WISCONSIN
FORMERLY OF MCFARLAND, WISCONSIN Age 83 passed away on Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca, WI. She was born November 18, 1923 in Muscoda, WI; daughter of Guy and Beulah (Gies) Stephenson. Mary served in the U.S. Army from August 14, 1944 until December 12, 1944. On November 7, 1959, Mary married Lawrence E. Hess in Portage, WI. He resides at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King, WI. Mary had served as president of the McFarland American Legion Post. Mary is survived by:

Great-Grandchildren: Mark Raprager; Ivy and Gabriel Kohl; Eli, Jackson, and Zoë Kohl

Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Beulah Stephenson. A Memorial Service will be on Saturday, April 14, 2007 at 11:00 AM at the Ainsworth Hall Chapel, Wisconsin Veterans Home, King, WI. Father Paul Vanden Hogen will officiate. A visitation will be held ½ hour prior to the service on Saturday at the chapel. Burial will be at the Central WI Veterans Memorial Cemetery in King, WI at a later date. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements. We would like to thank the community of caregivers from King and Waupaca for the special care that our mother was given.
