age 82 - passed away on September 9, 2011 at her residence. May was born on May 6, 1929 in Augusta, Maine, the daughter of Howard and Mildred (Seigars) Spaulding. She married Jerry Hubbard on May 11, 1947 in Lee County, GA. He preceded her in death on August 23, 1997.
May is survived by her children; Gail (Randy) Wiza of Libby, MT, Lynn (Charles) Hansen of Waupaca, WI, Dwight (Sue) Hubbard of Sheboygan Falls, WI, and Jill (Benny) Polar of Neenah, WI. Mary is also survived by seven grandchildren; Melissa Wiza, Holly Clarke, Ericka Fletcher, Tracy Hubbard, David Hubbard, Brett Hubbard, and Duane Polar, 13 great grandchildren, and a sister; Joan (Bill) Parsons of Palm Springs, CA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry, a grandson, Ryan E. Hansen, and her parents.
Mary had been a homemaker for most of her adult life. Some of her interests included folk art, gourmet cooking, traveling, enjoying nature and the outdoors, and just enjoying life.
Per her wishes no services will be held at this time. Mary's family is planning a private family memorial service at a later date. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca, WI assisted the family with arrangements.
