Matthew L. Olsen's Obituary
Matt Olsen, age 65, of Waupaca, WI, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah, WI, surrounded by his loving family. Matt was born June 20, 1956 in Wausau, WI; son of Jerry and Eunice (Gaurkee) Olsen. Matt attended Westfield High where he excelled playing football and baseball. On July 7, 1979, he married Lisa Floeter in Westfield, WI and together they shared 43 years of marriage. He was a loving and caring husband, father, and friend who would drop anything he was doing to help his family and friends. Matt was a hard-working man who was well known in the State of Wisconsin and surrounding states for his knowledge of medical devices and installation. Matt will be missed by everyone who knew him and his loving and entertaining personality will certainly be missed.
Matt is survived by his wife Lisa Olsen of Waupaca, WI; two sons Derek (Ashley) Olsen of Elroy, WI and Tyler (Meggie) Olsen of Milwaukee WI; two grandchildren, Ava and Kellen and dogs, Sophie, Beebs, and Penny, who he loved very much.
There will be a private family memorial at a later date.
