Mrs. Maureen K. Olson, age 39, of Waupaca passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, January 23rd, 2005 at her residence. Maureen was born in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin on January 3, 1966, she was the daughter of June (Anderson) and Michael G. Walsh. On August 24, 1993, she married Jeffrey J. Olson in Waupaca. Maureen and Jeff owned and operated the Waupaca Cafe for the last 6 years. She also had worked at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King. Maureen enjoyed sports, art and cooking. She loved animals and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her Husband: Jeffrey Olson, Waupaca; Step Children: Joanna (Adam) Tevis; Sun Prairie; Carrie (Scott) Zastoupil Waupaca; Michael Olson, Waupaca; Jonathan Olson, Waupaca; and son Nathaniel Olson, at home; Mother: June Walsh; Father: Michael (Kay) Walsh, South Dakota; Grandmother: Margaret Anderson; Step Mother/special friend: Susan Rowell; Lena, WI; Sister: Bonnie (Donald)Gruber; West Bend; Brother: Michael Walsh Jr., Milwaukee; Scott (Denise) Walsh, West Bend; Sean Walsh, SouthCarolina;
Father & Mother in law: Carlyle & Virginia Olson; and Step Grandson: Anthony Olmeda Memorial Service will be held at Holly Funeral Home-Waupaca, on Thursday, Jan 27, 2005 at 1:00 P.M. with Reverend Dave Martin officiating. Visitation will be held from 11-1 P.M. on Thursday at the funeral home. Interment of cremains will be in the Lakeside Memorial Park Waupaca, Wisconsin.
